Process

Controlled Pyrolysis

Rice husk is sourced from nearby partner mills, processed through controlled slow pyrolysis, and converted into stable biochar for permanent soil application while recovering syngas and bio-oil.

Carbon Lock

Continuous thermal conversion at 450-600°C under strict low-oxygen atmospheric conditions provides stable biochar designed for long-term soil carbon storage.

Facilities

The project operates across two facilities in Kalahandi and Sambalpur, Odisha, creating a local circular system connecting rice milling, carbon removal, and agriculture.
